Sovan Gorai has spent the past five years exploring diverse forms of artistic expression. Born in Nabagram, Bankura, his early experiences in Kolkata revealed the harsh realities of migrant lives in the city. Disturbed by their struggles and resilience, he channels these emotions into his sculptures. By placing himself in their position, Gorai transforms their ordinary stories into extraordinary narratives, giving voice to those often overlooked through the language of art.
