Deepak, born in the vibrant city of Delhi in 1993, is a versatile artist currently rooted in the
same bustling metropolis. My artistic journey traverses various mediums, including painting,
sculpture, video, and digital art, with a particular penchant for innovative experimentation
using bricks. It is within this realm of exploration that I have garnered recognition, known for
pushing boundaries and challenging conventional artistic norms.
My work delves into the intricate tapestry of human-animal interactions within our shared
habitats, drawing inspiration from the rich philosophies of both anthropocentrism and Shinto
animism. Through my art, I strive to capture the profound beauty and complexity of this
relationship, urging viewers to contemplate their roles as custodians of our planet.
The Brick series stands as a testament to my commitment to documenting the evolving urban
landscapes and the impact of human activity on wildlife habitats. Each piece is a narrative,
weaving together layers of symbolism and social commentary, inviting viewers to engage in a
dialogue about our collective responsibility towards the environment.
In addition to my artistic endeavours, I have had the privilege of showcasing my work at
esteemed exhibitions such as the Kochi-Muziris Students’ Biennale, Lalit Kala Akademi’s
Perspectives Five Canvas, and the National Exhibitions hosted by prestigious institutions
across India. The publication of Allegories at Terrain.art further cements my position within
the contemporary art scene, reflecting my ongoing dedication to pushing the boundaries of
    artistic expression.
As I continue to explore new avenues of creativity and engage with diverse communities, I
hope to spark meaningful conversations and inspire positive change through my art.
