Sujyot Parkhe
B. 1999, Sujyot Parkhe. Hailing from Baner, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Hi completed his BFA & MFA from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai in 2022 & 2025 respectively. His work explores how human perception of trees and landscapes is shaped through experience, culture, memory, and observation. While trees are often understood in terms of their utility, decoration, or economic value, he approaches them as individual living entities, each possessing its own presence, existence, and internal life.
He attended an art session program in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in June–July 2024. He exhibited his work in a group show at Jehangir Art Gallery in January 2026. He works in acrylic medium on paper, canvas, and clothing net as surfaces. He is currently experimenting with clothing net as a surface in various dimensions.
